How do I get paid when people buy my sticker app?

You have access to monitor the sales of your apps directly in iTunes Connect, Google Play and any other stores that enable this capability. Because your Hobbiest and Professional account apps are released under the Tanooki Labs' (Mediamoji's parent company) developer account, all payments must come through our escrow account attached to your app's profile. Funds will be transferred via ACH (or appropriate method) to your account quarterly.  


Do I still own my designs if I upload them to MediaMoji?

Yes. 100%. Yes.

We are engineers,  designers, writers, hackers, musicians and generally makers ourselves, so we understands the hard work you put into your passion and believe you should own and benefit from your creations.

You will always own the content that you upload to MediaMoji.

You can remove your IP from the app at any time and it will immediately be removed from all of our apps. 


Can I upload images I don’t own?

No. You need to own or have permission to legally share the content you publish in your Mediamoji-based app.


Whats the major difference between the basic plan and the premium plan?

Some of us are here to monetize the stickers and gifs that we create and understand that we need to spend some money to make money. Some of us want to share our work with as many people as possible on a low-cost, easy-to-use platform.

The primary differences between the basic Hobbiest plan and the more advanced Professional or Enterprise plans are that the latter plans provide the functionality or customizations you need to run your business. 

This advanced functionality also enables you to super charge your sales by providing insights into what stickers/gifs your users use most, allowing you to sell additional packs to existing users, send push notifications and more.  


Why does the premium plan cost $79.99?

If you've ever tried to build a mobile app that works with iOS, Android, Facebook, WhatsApp, iMessage, LINE, WeChat, etc., you know how often you need to update an app to make sure it works with the latest version of iOS or Android. 

Every feature we build in to our apps increases their complexity and makes them harder to maintain. Features needed for serious sticker app developers, like analytics, push notifications and paid packs are very complex features. 

So, not only are you able to make more because we built and continue to improve these features, it actually costs us more to do than it would if all our users were Hobbiests. 

 In the same way you need your fans to help support your ability to do what you love, we need you to help support us doing what we love -- enabling you to share your creativity and message everywhere. 


How does my app get to the App Store?

After you finish uploading your dope stickers and customize our app's profile, you simply click the "publish" button and we'll do all the rest.

On the back end, we generate a new sticker app customized with your assets. We then push your app to the App Store under our developer account and manage it through the app submission process. It could take between 4 business days and 2 weeks for your app to be approved by Apple reviewers. Once Apple approves, we will push your app live. 

We'll alert you as soon as your app is available in the app store. Any time you want to remove your app from the app store, simply click the "Remove from sale" button on your live app's profile in Mediamoji. 


How do I use my iOS app?

After a user downloads your app, they will find your iOS app on their phone's home screen. By opening this app, users can learn how to use the iMessage and Keyboard apps, share your stickers, purchase packs and link out to your social and web profiles.

How do I update my app's App Store profile?

All of the information used to populate your app’s App Store profile is easily customizable from right inside MediaMoji. Set your app’s description, category information, logo and price. Changes to the profile require app store approval.


How do I Customize my App Profile and Look & Feel?

Hobbiest and Professional subscriptions allow you to choose a theme from our ever expanding theme library. This is also chosen in the "App" tab.
