Customize your app

Mediamoji was designed and built to look great and work well out of the box. The platform also gives you many ways to express yourself and identify with your fans by customizing some details of your app. You can learn more about the various customizations, in this article describing how to modify your app details, but here are a few of the main features you should know about:

Create categories for your stickers.

After you have more than 9 or 12 stickers in your app, you may want to organize them into logical categories to make it easier for your users to find the sticker they are looking for. Each category consists of a list of media items selected to be in the category, a title and an icon.

Here, we show an example of how the StreetCuts.co team organized their 200+ stickers into categories by the artists that contributed the stickers.

Create sticker packs to sell as in-app purchases

Stickers that are not associated with a pack are accessible to all users that download your app. These are the stickers that your usuer automatically gets when downloading your app from the App Store. But, if you add a sticker to a pack, your users must purchase that pack to get access to this sticker and the others in that pack. To learn more about packs in Mediamoji, have a look at this detailed description of our pack functionality.

Packs are a collection of stickers, a hero image, the sale price and other metadata describing the sticker set. After you create packs in your app, we will publish it to the App Store. Once approved by Apple, your users will be able to purchase your pack in the app.

You can also read this article to learn more about how to earn more money by selling paid packs.

In the example below, we show how StreetCuts created a paid pack for “Abe Lincoln Jr’s Nice Folks” sticker pack in the creator web interface and what this sticker pack looks like when viewed by a user in the app.
